Torrey Factory Lofts
128 Chandler Street, Worcester, MA
The building at 128 Chandler Street, Worcester was erected in two phases, in 1880 and 1905, by J. R. Torrey Razor Co., a manufacturer of high quality straight razors and stropes. When purchased in 2019, the building had been vacant and neglected for over 10 years. Today, after careful restoration and redevelopment, the building hosts 47 loft-style apartments featuring luxury kitchens with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, central A/C, integrated security system, and Wi-Fi internet. The project was awarded state and federal tax credits.
