Norwich Lofts

16 Norwich Street, Worcester, MA

Completed in 1926, the Duprey Building is a fine example of the Classical Revival style, commonly seen across the country after World's Columbian Exposition held in Chicago in 1893. Named after Phillip H. Duprey, a locally-born Worcester entrepreneur, the building accommodated several small companies, mostly associated with construction, real estate, and architecture. Among them were the offices of Jasper Rustigan, the building's architect. The building has been carefully restored in 2017. Each floor has been converted into a large, loft-style apartment, featuring four bedrooms with individual bathrooms, a luxury kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, in-unit laundry room, central A/C, integrated security system, internet and cable TVs. The project was awarded state and federal tax credits.
